  Heart Attack Canyon

  Heart Attack Canyon opens with one of the longest abseil entrances in the area, anywhere from a 10 metre drop to a rigged 43 metre one depending on where you get into the creek, then continues with two to six rappels, the longest around 37 metres.

  Hole in the Wall

  One of the more popular canyons on the Newnes Plateau, with well marked tracks in and out. The payoff is the lower section: five rappels, a tunnel swim, glow worms, and narrow twisting corridors in the dark.

  No rope needed here. Rocky Creek is a half kilometre of narrow dark slots and easy climb downs, punctuated by a feature locals call the Washing Machine and long swims past sculpted walls.
