  Bluejohn Canyon (Lower)

  The bottom end of the Bluejohn main fork, an 11 mile drainage running up off the Robbers Roost Flats, and the canyon the wider public knows from Aron Ralston's 2003 entrapment and self amputation.

  Bluejohn Canyon (Squeeze Fork)

  The technical entry into the Bluejohn system, and the arithmetic tells the story: 9.7 miles and seven to nine hours to link three short rappels. Most of the day is approach, constriction, and walk out. Graded 3A PG.

  Horseshoe Canyon

  The reason to walk this one is the Great Gallery, a panel of well preserved, life sized figures about 3.5 miles in. It sits in a detached unit of Canyonlands, costs nothing to enter, and needs no rope anywhere.
