Bluejohn Canyon (Lower)
The bottom end of the Bluejohn main fork, an 11 mile drainage running up off the Robbers Roost Flats, and the canyon the wider public knows from Aron Ralston's 2003 entrapment and self amputation.
The RopeWiki page for the lower section is an infobox with every prose section empty, so the usable beta lives elsewhere: Road Trip Ryan, Canyoneering USA, americansouthwest, and SummitPost all carry it. Land is BLM, run out of the Henry Mountains Field Station in Hanksville, and private parties need no permit and pay no fee; only commercial and educational groups do. Spring and fall are the listed windows. Exit choice matters on the main fork: going back up it involves climbing that stops some parties, and the West Fork is the easier way out. Hanksville is the nearest anything, so carry water and recovery gear for the road, not just for the canyon.
