This is a set of majestic waterfalls with a hiking trail to access the top and most spectacular one. This could potentially provide a kick-ass canyoneering route, but as far as we know it may have even been attempted before.
Named for five falls along the route (El Suspiro, Ala de Angel, Arcoiris, Quinceañera and the 70 meter Velo de Novia), first descended commercially in 2015. As of late 2021 the cooperativas that run the Chiflon tourist site were refusing rappel permission to commercial guiding companies, wanting to run their own trips instead; whether private, non-guided groups would be treated differently was left unclear.
