Malvaglia's lower canyon mixes jumps, slides, and rappels through moving water over ten drops, longest 50 meters; flow runs year round but drops low in dry spells, and wetsuits are standard kit. Plan on about two hours.
The descent's biggest cascade drops something like 80 meters overall, worked in stages, with a mid height ledge that holds two people comfortably for the rope change. Park at the bridge below the church, walk south about 150 meters, then pick up the marked trail from a small three car pullout on the Pontei road. Call OFIBLE in and out like the rest of the Blenio hydro canyons here (see permit).
