Little Baker Slots
Three slots off Early Weed Bench, reached by a five mile backpack rather than a walk from the car. RopeWiki rates the middle one the best of the three, ending on a 90 foot mostly free hanging rappel.
The approach is the trip. The Early Weed Bench road wants high clearance and AWD or 4WD, then it is five miles down to a campsite near the climb that accesses all three canyons, and a fair share of that is across sand. Plan on camping rather than a day raid. RopeWiki recommends treating water with a flocculant such as polyaluminum chloride, since the silt here defeats a filter. West Little Baker finishes on a 140 foot rappel with a rope sticking crack running right down the old line, so rig away from it or expect a stuck pull.
