This is a gorgeous and deep canyon that is accessed through a shallow cave at the top of La Gloria Tolantango. It is an out and back trip that will require setting some pasamanos and ascending back up a couple rappels.

you will need to set a couple of handlines of up to perhaps 9 meters and do a two stage rappel down into the main "grotto" of the cave/canyon. Some apparently do this as a single rappel of maybe 120 feet. You can climb/swim down into the cave a bit from here. The water is hot and effervescent and the flow is a bit scary in places.
