  Above Claretto Lower on the same drainage near Novalesa, the upper fork strings two dozen rappels over 1000 meters and 390 meters of vertical, the longest 40 meters. Commitment rating IV and a five to six hour typical time reflect the volume of rope work rather than any single big drop.

  Descent times on the lower Marderello swing widely, two to seven hours depending on party size and rope handling, for twenty five rappels packed into 350 meters of length and 180 meters of vertical near Novalesa.   Noaschetta (Lower)

  Granite narrows carry seven rappels over 450 meters and 150 meters of vertical on the lower Noaschetta, a four hour trip with no shuttle needed, best from Jul into Oct. The longest drop here is 60 meters.

  Noaschetta (Upper)

  Both canyons run through the same granite: the upper Noaschetta doubles the length of its lower neighbor, 860 meters against 450, with the same seven rappel count but a shorter 40 meter maximum drop. A three kilometer shuttle separates the two approaches, and the season stretches from summer into early autumn.
