  Selvagrande

  Also known locally as Selva Ranna or Cascate dell'Ortanza, the Selvagrande runs seventeen rappels over 1250 meters of limestone in the Gola di Amatrice. No shuttle needed since it's a loop, but reported times swing widely, twenty minutes to two hours for the approach alone, and three to a little over six hours total. Season is tight, Apr to Jun.
