3BCañon Aquetzalli
This is the only canyon developed to date in limestone in Jalisco and is locoted in the center of the state, about 2 hours drive from Guadalajara. it has become the most popular canyon in the state since the garbage dump was built in the headwaters of Huaxtla.

3BCañon Azul Turquesa
This canyon is located about 30 minutes N of Guadalajara and is developed in beautiful sculpted rhyolite. the approach hike is over an open field that then drops down into a very tall and enclosed canyon.

3BCañon de la Campana
This canyon is located in a beautiful protected cloud forest about 2 hours south of Guadalajara and has water all year round and can be done in the rainy season as the full forest cover blunts flooding. The high light of this canyon is the 95m high Cascada de Tecolotlan or known as El Salto de Tecolotlan.

3BCañon de La Teja
This full day canyon is located about 20 minutes NW of the town of Tequila and has at least some water flow all year, making it a good option for dry season trips. It is not technically difficult with only 10 rappels (up to 32m) but has lots of jumps (many into shallow water) and once committed past the first rappel it is a long way to the finish.

3BCañon Los Camachos
This canyon is located about 10 minutes north of Guadalajara, and is one of the few canyons in Jalisco that one can do all year round (IE. it has water all year, and the flood risk is manageable in the rainy season).

3BSalto del Nogal
This canyon is located just to the south of the tourist town of Tapalpa, about 2 hours south of Guadalajara. It is essentially one big waterfall with a large step 2/3´s down that towers over a steep canyon to the south.
