Wayne's Wonderland was the original name for Capitol Reef, before the 1937 monument designation. The canyon carrying that name is a day of downclimbs, possible swimming, and rappels up to 210 feet.
Anchors are the recurring problem: RopeWiki calls out many natural anchor problems, so carry more webbing and rope than a three rappel count suggests and plan to build. Treat swimming as likely rather than possible when sizing your kit. The exit is the kind part of the day, the final rappel drops into the wash and it is five to ten minutes of walking to the highway. Capitol Reef requires a free canyoneering permit for every technical route, from the self serve kiosk outside the visitor center or by emailing the park.
