Known locally as the Azbukovački Kolorado. Tribuća is the steep tributary; the easier commercial route in the same reserve is Dabrova on the Trešnjica main stem, run by the same operator, so confirm which one a booking refers to. The reserve is a griffon vulture stronghold and the birds are the reason the protection exists, which is worth respecting on approach and exit. The river vanishes into gravel just before meeting the Trešnjica. Coordinates below are the reserve's published representative point, not a surveyed put-in.

Logistics

ManagerSpecijalni rezervat prirode Klisura reke Trešnjice, a Category I Special Nature Reserve designated in 1992, 595.38 ha, spanning an elevation band of 310 to 929 m over roughly 14 km of the Trešnjica. The Tribuća confluence sits inside it. The reserve exists chiefly to protect a griffon vulture colony, counted at 49 birds in 2016.
PermitNo canyoning permit system was documented. In practice the canyon is run guided: Wild Serbia has operated it since 2009 and the Extreme Canyoning club (xcanyoning.com) lists it. Because the surrounding reserve is Category I griffon vulture habitat, assume nesting season sensitivity and clear plans with the reserve manager. Serbian reserve text states plainly that further passage through the canyon is possible only with mountaineering equipment.
TimeAbout 5.5 hr for the canyon day per Extreme Canyoning, roughly 3 hr in the canyon plus 2.5 hr for the return. Wild Serbia sells it as a full day of about 9 hr including travel from Belgrade, 160 km away.
TechnicalHard limestone gorge on the Tribuća, a short steep right tributary of the Trešnjica draining Tornička Bobija (4,173 ft). The river runs 4.3 mi and loses 1,476 ft, with walls to 164 ft. Sources differ on the drops: Wild Serbia counts 6 waterfalls of 16 to 66 ft, Extreme Canyoning describes five vertical rappels of 49 to 66 ft. The signature feature is Vesin vir, first of three major falls, a 33 ft drop into a large stone basin. Rope is mandatory. Rappels off waterfalls, jumps into pools and slides on polished rock, with wetsuit and neoprene socks issued. No ACA style grade or topo is published. Serbian sources call it the most extreme canyon in the country from its discovery in the 1980s until 2010.

Flood riskHigh. A short steep mountain river losing 1,476 ft over 4.3 mi with no impoundment. The reserve's own visitor guidance warns the Trešnjica can swell within a couple of hours after rain and turn dangerous; Tribuća is the steeper of the two and responds faster. No public stage gauge was found.
Vehicle accessPaved road to Ljubovija, 160 km from Belgrade. Extreme Canyoning bases the trip in the village of Savkovići. Final approach road surface and clearance are not documented.
CrowdGuided groups of 5 to 8 with Wild Serbia. Low volume. Wild Serbia reports over 95 percent of its participants have never done canyoning before, which places this as Serbia's showcase commercial descent rather than a club circuit objective.
