TCB (North East Fork)
No rappels, and still not a hike. The North East Fork of Twin Corral Box, also catalogued as Smallcatraz, is squeezing, stemming, and downclimbing for three to four hours, with a dark chamber at the bottom end that parties walk past.
Bring a headlamp, and not for the exit: the chamber at the end is the point of the trip and it is genuinely dark. Bring 20 feet of webbing as well, because the last downclimb needs it to reverse and there is nothing else in there. Zero rappels but rated PG, which is the usual shape of a tight canyon: the risk is getting stuck or blowing a downclimb, not falling off a rope. It is a good first tight canyon for somebody who has never had to stem, so pick a party that can spot. Approach and exit are both short. Listed as any season, hot in summer, and RopeWiki flags winter as difficult.
