A fun, approachable staircase of slides and jumps below the Ossau valley's hydro dam, closed from October through mid June and popular enough with guide companies that timing your start early or late avoids the lines.
Flow is regulated by the upstream hydroelectric plant and can spike without warning; a color coded gauge board is posted at the put in bridge, check it before committing. Fixed ropes let you repeat the best slides.
