Easy in and out on constructed tourist track through the Never Never picnic area, which is part of why it works as an introduction to aquatic canyoning. The full loop runs about six hours car to car, or drop straight to P2 down a shortcut off the tourist track for a four hour speed run. Flow is worked out by netting two upstream Bellinger River gauges against the Never Never gauge, and past roughly 300 on that formula the canyon moves into advanced only territory. Anchors were rebolted in 2026 to fix corrosion and cut down on ropes getting stuck, funded through Canyoning Australia's Canyon Fund.
