A sporty side entry into Claustral with a series of clean abseils, accessed from the same Mount Wilson trailhead.
From the Claustral parking, the Ranon Brook entry is about 2 km west. Watch for a hidden cliff line near the brook entry, bushfire regrowth has erased the old foot pads. Most parties continue down Claustral after joining, making the day comparable in length.
