Ranon

Ranon drops a run of rappels into the side of Claustral Canyon, the area's much better known descent, making it a good pairing rather than a destination on its own.

Two ways in: the Mistake Ravine entrance is shorter and easier, recommended if this is a first run, while the Ranon Brook entrance is longer, sportier, and needs a short car shuffle with a vehicle left at the Claustral car park. Either way you finish by following Claustral's own exit track notes rather than a route specific to Ranon, so read up on that exit before you go in.
