Providence Cave
A cave, not a canyon, high above Logan in an alpine setting, and easy going for two to four hours once past a couple of tight squeezes near the entrance.
Road Trip Ryan frames it as a good family outing with competent leadership, which is the right reading: the caving is easy, an underequipped party is not. Bring a 30 meter rope, several headlamps, helmets, and knee and elbow pads. Inside is cold and wet, and how wet varies year to year, from fairly dry to shallow puddles you crawl through, so dress for the wetter version. The access road is impassable in winter and spring and high clearance is listed for the drive, which is why summer and early fall is the window. The RopeWiki page exists but every route section on it is empty, so the Road Trip Ryan writeup is the beta.
