Procession Panel
One hundred seventy nine figures walk in a single line across about twenty feet of rock, converging on one of the few places a person can get over Comb Ridge.
The panel has a reputation for being hard to find and groups do come back empty handed, but with decent directions it is straightforward. Under three miles round trip, two to four hours, with almost no shade, which makes it a cool season hike rather than a summer one. From the panel it is less than five minutes up to the top of Comb Ridge, and the top is the better lunch spot. Sources disagree on the road: Climb-Utah advises high clearance for the trailhead while Road Trip Ryan tags the access as 2WD, so expect it to depend on recent weather. Comb Ridge day use pass required. Never chalk, wet, or trace a petroglyph to photograph it; that is both damaging and illegal.
