Pleiades Canyon
Brumley Creek cuts through a sandstone layer high in the La Sals above Moab. Short at 1.7 miles, and cold: the creek is spring fed and stays cold year round whenever it is not frozen.
Wetsuits are recommended any time it is flowing. RopeWiki suggests the Mill Creek gauge in Moab as a rough proxy for Brumley Creek: 3 to 8 CFS indicates flow suited to intermediate canyoneers with C class experience, 0 to 3 is lower and open to a wider range, and 8 to 20 is high enough to be experts only or not worth descending. It is a starting point, not a rule; look at the water yourself before you commit. Rappel 2, a 60 foot two tiered drop off a tree, is the last place to exit, and some parties rig it as two rappels to avoid a hard pull. Rappel 5 is 70 feet off bolts on canyon right; bolts may also exist canyon left, which put the rappeler further into the flow. Geyser Pass Road is graded dirt and fine for 2WD up to the Squaw Springs trailhead. The exit takes the Brumley arch trail 0.3 miles to a gate, which you close behind you, then drops back to the creek and climbs 600 feet to the car.
