Four and a half kilometers of swimming, ducking under boulders, and small optional jumps, with no rappels and a technical grade of only 2: it earns its classic status by moving a lot of people through without a single bottleneck to back things up.

No red tape. The approach is a steep, well traveled trail down from the parking area, about 30 minutes; suit up once you reach the water. A dark tunnel partway through looks like a siphon but RopeWiki is clear that it is not one. On exit, jumping off the dam near the end is no longer allowed, a rule change worth knowing before you get there. A 10 kilometer shuttle is listed if you would rather not walk back.
