Park boundary clipping is also real, ranger citations have happened. The integral variant (Dos Torres / Mordor Integral) chains this descent with the Dos Torres canyon above and runs 18 rappels over 8 to 14 hours.

Permit	Access restricted. Pay the Dino-Land entry fee at the trailhead. The descent route clips into Parque Nacional Volcán Poás and rangers cite trespassers, so the practical access depends on guide relationships (Toros Canyoning Group). Solo descents are not the cultural norm here.

The water runs sky blue from dissolved sulfuric acid washed off the Poas lake (recorded pH near zero in the crater), which can sting eyes and degrade ropes; pH test the flow before committing. Multiple jumps and slides through the descent.
