ACA 3C IV X
Low flood risk
Praia Grande, SC
The marquee descent of the Aparados da Serra basalt canyon cluster. Nineteen rappels, twelve hours in the slot, big water past every confluence.
Sits in the same cluster as Indios Coroados, Canion do Cafe, Goteiras, Silveirao, Atila, Carrapicho, Carijos, Iniciantes. This is the headliner. Park system blends Aparados da Serra NP (Itaimbezinho side) and Serra Geral NP (Malacara, Fortaleza side); operationally treated as one canyoneering region from Praia Grande. The X grade is not casual. 3C IV X with twelve hours in the canyon means a full commitment day with no easy bail.
