Krill Canyon

verified ACA 3A Moderate flood risk Moab, UT

A single big free-hanging rappel inside Arches' Fiery Furnace, dropping into a smooth-walled chamber the wiki calls the Belly of the Whale.

Inspect those twelve-year-old pitons before committing; backup with a meat anchor or bring your own gear. Navigation through the Fiery Furnace fins is notoriously hard and GPS unreliable in dense towers. The standard pairing with Lomatium runs as a full day with two permits and one orientation video; budget accordingly.
