Kozjak

verified Ungraded High flood risk Kobarid, Soča Valley

Aggressive 4C2 limestone descent in the upper Kozjak drainage, finishing above the famous waterfall amphitheater near Kobarid.

Materially harder than Sušec across the valley. The v4a5 II grade flags it as a step up in commitment, primarily because of sustained swift water rather than vertical exposure. The Kozjak Slap itself (the 15 m waterfall in the cathedral pool downstream) is a walking destination on its own and not part of the canyoning descent.
