Frosted Flakes
Half a day, with 60 to 90 minutes of X stemming around 50 feet off the deck and a 150 foot finish into Sleepy Hollow.
You have to be comfortable wide and high. The movement is described as solid, with good dishes and pockets and secure walk through sections, but a few silos will make you stop and think. Approach from Chimney Rock trailhead, down Coyote Gulch and up onto King Mesa on the DDI line, then northwest around the mid break of Long Branch; a ramp out of Sleepy Hollow on the right is the alternative. At the first drop, fiddle off the tree on the right rim, which puts you in the deeper slot and possibly a waist deep pool. The final anchor is the part to plan for: do not count on sand being there. Farm sand or mud out of the potholes in the dark section or work the warts and cracks, and carry a short 30 foot rope and toggle in case you need it. The exit up Sleepy Hollow runs through poison ivy, so cover up.
