Fifteen kilometres and 525 metres of climbing wrap around five short rappels on this sustained canyon day above the Capertee River, best tackled in a wetsuit.

The approach follows the fire trail along the Capertee River, then climbs to the cliff line and a roomy cave that works as a camp partway through. All five rappels are short, 4 to 13 metres, off trees, a log or a sling on rock. Exit either retraces the route or continues down the river to pick up the fire trail.
