Fiddler Cove Canyon

verified ACA 2A Unknown flood risk Hanksville, UT

Graded 2A with no rappels, but RopeWiki lists it as a two to three day trip southeast of Hanksville. Every prose section on its page is blank.

This is a backpack, not a day canyon: RopeWiki gives 2 to 3 days, no shuttle, a 4WD high clearance approach, and spring, fall and winter as the seasons. Only two people have rated it, so the 4.3 quality score rests on very little. There is no published route description on RopeWiki and both beta links it carries are dead ends: the CanyonCollective page survives only in the Wayback Machine and SummitPost returns 403. Call the BLM Hanksville and Henry Mountains Field Station at 435-542-3461 for road conditions before you commit to the drive, and carry your own water.
