The milder upstream half of the Bitet system near Eaux Chaudes: six short rappels finish among big boulders at the dam, and the source guidebook text calls it worth doing once even though the canyon below is the better descent.
The six rappels run 10, 2, 6 (a jump), 8, 15, and 16 meters, with a slippery approach and a submerged log or two to watch for early on. Exit river right immediately below the dam; lingering on the bank stirs up deep silt.
