Often described as 'the world's longest art gallery' the 46 mile long Nine Mile Canyon provides a higher density of rock art than anywhere in North America. Explore many side canyons or main road attractions if passing through the area and looking for time to kill.

Two developed stops break up the drive: Cottonwood Glen with a picnic area, restrooms and a historic homestead, and Daddy Canyon with a parking lot, bathrooms and trailheads to panels. No fee. Much of the canyon bottom is private ranch land even where the road is public, so stay off it and read the panels from the pullouts. Access is from Wellington heading northeast on Soldier Creek Road. The BLM Price Field Office at 435-636-3600 has current conditions, worth a call before committing to the full 46 mile length of it.
